This poetry chapbook collection was inspired by hikes on the 84 miles of Ice Age National Scenic Trail through the Northern Kettle Moraine. This is the start of a healing journey through hiking and poetry, the first steps of a 1,000 miles. Climb a moraine, listen to breath and birdsong, backtrack, enjoy ephemeral wildflowers, and celebrate with the clapping of aspen leaves.
